Since our founding, we have trained over 320 screen workers in MHFA and continue to offer free and/or subsidised training with the support of our partners. Below are past industry-funded MHFA training programs we have delivered.

Tranche Four: MHFA for the Screen Sector

We recently completed tranche four of MHFA in partnership with Alliance of Australasian Performing Arts Benevolent Funds (AAPABF), Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA), and MEAA Wellness Committee to deliver 9 courses and training 108 screen and live performance industry workers.

Tranche Three: MHFA for the Screen Sector

Running from April 2023 through to July 2023, tranche three of MHFA for the Screen Sector was financed with assistance from Screen Australia, VicScreen, and Screen Queensland. This tranche was strategically delivered to screen industry workers that are sole traders, or those who own, run, or work in small screen businesses (1-19 employees).

Tranche Two: MHFA for the Screen Sector

We recently completed tranche two of MHFA for the Screen Sector in partnership with Ausfilm, Fox Studios Australia, Netflix, and Industrial Light & Magic across 5 MHFA courses for producers, line-producers/production managers, post producers, post supervisors and VFX producers.

Tranche One: MHFA for the Screen Sector

Running from September 2021 through to March 2022, tranche one of MHFA for the Screen Sector was financed with assistance from Screen Australia and was strategically delivered to screen practitioners such as intamacy coordinators, safety supervisors, editors, production designers, and committee members of industry organisations like our benevolent funds/trusts, WIFT, and some union/guild leaders who in up-skilling with this training would have the most immediate positive impact for the industry.
